5 Things I Learned This Week (That I’ll Probably Forget Next Week)

This week has been… a week. You know the kind — a blur of coffee, random deep thoughts, and way too many browser tabs. Still, amidst the chaos, I picked up a few nuggets of semi-wisdom worth jotting down before they vanish into the void of my short-term memory.

1. Everyone is winging it

Seriously. No matter how confident or put-together someone looks, they’re probably just making it up as they go — just like the rest of us. Strangely comforting.

2. “Inbox Zero” is a myth

I reached it. For five minutes. Then the emails came back, stronger. Hungrier. I’ve made peace with the fact that my inbox will always have some unread messages haunting it.

3. Plants are harder to keep alive than expected

I watered it. I gave it light. I even whispered encouraging words. Still died. RIP, Greg the fern. You deserved better.

4. You don’t need a reason to take a break

Sometimes “I’m tired” is a good enough reason. The world keeps spinning whether you’re hustling or napping. Choose wisely.

5. Time really is fake

I blinked and it was Friday. How? Where did Tuesday go? I demand answers.
